Beautiful Bike Tour Ringe-Korinth by a Disused Railway Line
Guided bike tour from Ringe (in the middle of Funen) by a disused railway line, now asphalted road and utmost comfortable for biking. We will ride at a moderate pace through the beautiful landscape of Funen from Ringe to Korinth and to the manor house of Brahetrolleborg.
We will pass by the manor of Boltinggård, the small towns of Espe and Højrup, the Viking castle of the designer Jim Lyngvild, Ravnsborg, to Korinth with its recently restored charming inn. From here we go to Brahetrolleborg and pay a visit to the church containing a beautiful baptismal font made by the famous Danish sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen. Our ride back to Ringe can be by smaller side roads or by the disused railway line again, if that is preferable.
The countryside is not very hilly, and we will make reasonable stops on the way, both for drinking and for pieces of information. I recommend the use of a bicycle helmet.
