Guide in Sønderborg, Sophie

History in general and local history in particular is my passion. The colourful history of the border area on my doorstep is my big hobby. Working as a tourist guide allows me to share this passion with my guests. When I have managed to dig up some new facts, relevant to one of my tours, the day gets even more perfect. 

My original profession is journalism. I left journalism many years ago, but will never tire of telling stories.

During a guided walk of Sønderborg, the story will begin in the middle ages at the castle and end with the modern 19 story hotel, whose contour has now become synonymous with Sønderborg.
