Tåsinge and Langeland - from Elvira Madigan to wild horses
We start in central Odense and from there we will drive to the lovely islands Tåsinge and Langeland.
On Tåsinge we will go through Troense, a small and picturesque town on our way to Valdemar Slot, Valdemar Castle, before we visit Landet graveyard where I'll tell you the beautiful yet sad love story about Elvira Madigan and Sixten Sparre.
From the small island Tåsinge we carry on to the bigger island Langeland to explore Tranekær castle in the north (a lovely place to have lunch) and the wild horses' paradise on the southern part of the island.
While we visit Langeland which translates into Long Island you will get to know the stories about the distinctive hatbakker, hathills, King Humble's grave and the cliffs by Ristinge.
