Egeskov Castle is a place I truly enjoy presenting. The combination of history, architecture, gardens, and collections makes it an experience where there is always something new to discover. In addition, the area offers a wealth of activities for visitors of all ages.
During a guided tour of the castle grounds, I will talk about the history of the castle and the development of the gardens. I will also introduce the themes of the museum exhibitions and outline the many different activity options available in the surrounding area.
Egeskov is a fascinating place to visit, which is why I take great pleasure in showing it to others. The castle is one of Europe's best‑preserved Renaissance castles and dates back to 1554. Moreover, Egeskov is one of the very few castles built on oak piles in the middle of a lake, which also serves as its moat. The yew‑hedge maze from the 1730s further contributes to the uniqueness of the Egeskov Castle grounds.
My goal is to ensure that everyone has a truly memorable experience at Egeskov - one that stays with them and inspires them to return.
