Just 15 years ago, the Århusgade neighbourhood in Nordhavn was a restricted area, enclosed by fences and checkpoints as part of Copenhagen's free port. Today, it stands as the city's latest example of modern harbour transformation.
This area has evolved based on a comprehensive plan from 2008, when the ideas of social, economic, and environmental sustainability were still emerging. During the tour, we'll explore the remarkable results of this forward-thinking development together.
Our tour will take you through some of Nordhavn's most innovative and iconic architectural landmarks, including Park & Play by JAJA Architects, Orienten by Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter, The Silo by COBE, Kanonhuset by Entasis, Portland Towers by DesignGroup Architects, and UN City by 3XN. We'll also enjoy a delightful pit stop at the beautiful Anderssen & Maillard bakery designed by Danielle Siggerud.
