Downtown Odense - from busy street to urban city centre
In June 2014, the busiest road through Odense, Thomas B. Thriges Gade with traffic exceeding 25,000 cars a day, was closed. Immediately afterwards, the gigantic project of building a completely new city centre began.
It took approximately eight years, and today the result can be seen. I have followed the project closely from the start until the finish and I look forward to take my guests on a whirlwind tour of the new district.
The tour takes you both above and below ground and offers both fascinating stories and magnificent dramas.
