At Guideservice Danmark, we collaborate with professional guides, tour leaders, and lecturers who communicate history, art, culture, and society with enthusiasm and strong subject expertise.

Whether your native language is Danish or another language is not essential. We need guides in many languages for assignments across Denmark, and we are also looking for Danish-speaking tour leaders and local guides for several international destinations. We are continuously seeking experienced freelancerswho would like to become part of a professional network with assignments throughout Denmark and occasionally abroad.

Who are we looking for?

We are primarily looking for:

Guides and city walk leaders with solid communication experience
Tour managers with industry experience
Lecturers within cultural and historical subjects

It is an advantage if you:

have professional experience in the industry
feel confident speaking in front of groups
can adapt your communication to different audiences

We work in many languages and need guides with diverse language skills. However, Danish is always requiredas it is our internal working language and a prerequisite for communicating Danish society to guests.

Freelance collaboration

All assignments at Guideservice Danmark are carried out on a freelance basis. We collaborate with guides and tour leaders who value flexibility and professional variety – and who appreciate a structured setup with clear agreements and mutual respect.

Guide and tour leader training

We offer two types of training for those who wish to work professionally with communication:

The programmes provide a solid professional foundation and insight into working at Guideservice Danmark. If you do not already have relevant professional experience, completion of one of these programmes is a minimum requirement to be considered for assignments.

Internship

Student internship

We offer internships for danish speaking students who wish to gain experience in:

  • communication
  • administrative tasks
