Beskrivelse af mig
I have lived in Copenhagen and surroundings since 1991. My work life has alternated between Copenhagen from within the walls and out to the satellite cities Fredensborg, Hillerød, Roskilde and Køge - and I love it all as a continuous metropolitan area.
I have a background in religious studies, I have prevoiusly worked for a number of years as a teacher and now I study philosophy at Umeå University. My passion is to convey Copenhagen and surroundings with a focus on cultural history, religious history and philosophy.
The metropolitan area Copenhagen has many famous churches such as the lutheran Roskilde Cathedral, which is a UNESCO world heritage site, and in Copenhagen Søren Kierkegaard became a world-famous philosopher. But the metropolitan area Copenhagen also has another cultural history with minorities such as jews, muslims, catholics, orthodox Christian and others. These groups have also imprinted the metropolitan area Copenhagen with neighbourhoods, synagogues, mosques, churches, burial sites and other institutions. One can have the idea, that Copenhagen was created by Christian IV as the capital of a particularly Danish culture. I would like to show you, that the old harbour of Bishop Absalon, Copenhagen, has always been an urban area in dialogue and exchange with the rest of the world.
Whether you would like to see the world-famous cultural history of the metropolitan area Copenhagen - or the unknown cultural history, I will guide you with great enthusiasm!
