Beskrivelse af mig
Copenhagen on foot and by bike - history, humour and hidden gems.
I have lived in Copenhagen since 1998 and know the city very well. I love exploring Copenhagen both on foot and by bike, and I am especially drawn to the small quirky stories and the places you do not easily find as an ordinary visitor. To me, both walking tours and bike tours are great ways to get close to the city's life, history and special atmosphere.
As a guide, I focus on making history vivid and engaging. I am interested in classic Copenhagen, the medieval city, the buildings of Christian IV, royal stories and Danish history in the capital. At the same time, I am equally drawn to the Copenhagen that lies a little behind the façade: the bridge districts, Frederiksberg, green spaces, urban development and the places that show the city both as a historic capital and as a lively modern city.
I enjoy guiding both classic walking tours and tours with a slightly different angle. This can include relaxed historical walks, Copenhagen behind the scenes, tours focused on culture and society, or experiences on foot and by bike with a focus on hidden places, beer and urban history. For me, a guided tour should be informative, lively and enjoyable to join.
I have many years of experience in communication and enjoy making knowledge clear, engaging and easy to relate to. With me, you get a guide who loves storytelling and enjoys sharing both the big historical lines, the hidden details and the pleasure of experiencing Copenhagen up close.
