Copenhagen at war - during Nazi siege 1940-1945

On this guided walk through Copenhagen, I talk about Copenhagen during the German occupation 1940-1945.

We will visit some of the locations in Copenhagen that are related to the German occupation. I'll tell you about the resistance struggle, collaborators to a greater and lesser degree, the Shell house, the Hotel D'Angleterre, Operation Carthage, the Palads cinema, the German quarter, German girls, stabbing liquidations, clearing murders from the Nazi side.

We'll also visit Mindelunden, a memorial park in Hellerup for Danish freedom fighters and see partly the place where Danish resistance fighters were executed and the many graves of heroes, as well as graves for Danish concentration camp prisoners, Jane Horney, the Flame and the Lemmon and other freedom fighters.
