Based on Lego's history and the area around Billund, it will be explained how humans survived in some of Northern Europe's harshest regions and how that approach to survival lives on in Lego, which has created the world's largest toy factory.
For more than 500 years, central Jutland was a heath area - almost a heath desert. But people have always lived on the heath. The interaction between nature, man and animals created a soul that is unique to central Jutland.
The word sustainability was a must for the population of the heath. That sustainability can form a natural model for us now and for many parts of Europe today. I put this into perspective for today's green energy on the heath.
