I love "my" small towns.
Middelfart, where I live, where beautiful nature, history and architecture play so well together.
Fredericia is irresistible. How can this fortified small town be so alive and kicking when the odds were so bad when it was planned in 1650?
Ribe is the oldest, most well preserved, and charming town in Denmark.
For 30 years as an upper secondary school teacher, I have been walking the streets with my students to discover the "big" history through the story of these towns and their inhabitants - and I continue as an enthusiastic guide.
I am thrilled when the guests express their excitement about and love to "my" little towns. Then I know that some of my enthusiasm and knowledge have rubbed off on the visitors.
