Guide in Odense, Jesper Kent
About me
I am an engaged historian from Odense, telling the story of the Funen capital in a lively manner through interesting anecdotes.
My name is Jesper. I am a journalist with a master's degree in history and religion, and I was born and raised in the city of Odense.
I tell the story of Odense in a lively and humorous manner. Through interesting anecdotes, I outline the major narratives of Denmark's third-largest city.
During my city tours, you will become acquainted with some of the city's most prominent personalities, such as Knud den Hellige, Claus Berg, Oluf Bager, Hans Christian Andersen, Ernst Gustav Lotze, and Richard Møller Nielsen.
My interests include history, religion, politics, social issues, football, literature, and culture. Through my many years of teaching children, young people, and adults, I have gained extensive experience in meeting people on their terms. This means I communicate at eye level with my guests.
As a guide, I am extremely service-minded. By nature, I am a calm person who meets my guests in a friendly and attentive mann
