I was born and raised here, and it was in this town that my interest in culture and history began. My passion for performance has always been a big part of me, and this interest led me to study dramaturgy. Here, I learned how to tell stories in a lively and engaging way, and it is exactly this approach I bring with me when I guide.

As a local guide, I will take you on a journey through Sønderborg's history. We can visit Sønderborg Castle and/or take a walk in the Skanserne, which are witnesses to the most humiliating battle in Denmark's history - a battle that has had great significance for the Sønderjylland we know today.

But Sønderborg is more than just historical defeats. The town is filled with lively traditions, such as the famous Sønderjysk coffee table with an abundance of sugar or Ringridning, where festivity and music is all over the town. 

And then there's the beautiful architecture we are very proud of - from the colorful old buildings at Sønderborg Harbor to the modern constructions such as Hotel Alsik and Borgen, which symbolize the city's development.
