About me

I have been a guide for many years in the areas of South Jutland, Southwest Jutland and East Jutland. I have experience with the last 500 years of development in the areas where my tours are always explained based on the context of the history of this part of Jutland.

A tour with me can be designed both as a city walk, bike ride and procession by car or bus. I have more than 30 years of experience as a guide in this area of Denmark.

I explain the development from dark Jutland to today's information society based on buildings, landscapes and stories from the area. These are just some of the many stories that I think make my area of Denmark so exciting:

  • Why are some of the world's largest companies in their industries out on the heath?
  • Is it true that the Jutland heath is Denmark's prairie?
  • What influence did the construction of Esbjerg city and harbor have on the development of Southwest Jutland?
  • How has the importance of Koldinghus Castle affected Kolding as a city?
  • Can you still experience the old railway lines in the city of Vejle, even though most of them were closed more than six decades ago?
