The hidden stories in Copenhagen

Do come and experience history and geography in two ways of Copenhagen - where the streets lies right angled in the "new" Copenhagen; but crump in the ancient Copenhagen.

Our city walk begins on the old walls around The King's Copenhagen, and afterwards the history will be given about Rosenborg Palace and The King's Garden on the spot where Hans Christian Andersen got his inspiration to the fairytale "The Tinder Box".

After that we will walk to the middle age's Copenhagen with a high visit on 31 metres ... and with good explanation with a view to "both cities". Next the tour continues to Trinity Church and The Round Tower, which has a strange puzzle up the brick wall that King Christian IV has authorised in the sixteen hundreds.

Along the way to the square of the greyfriars (Gråbrødretorv) we will stop at different Danish historical sights, among others the place where Peter Faber at Christmas 1847 wrote the lyrics to "Højt fra træets grønne top" a very popular Danish Christmas song, and we'll also see the place that has indirectly effected that the constitution in 1849 was signed by the King on the date June the fifth.

Other places in the inner city will invite even more oddities, what are not known in general to the public, such as the little street with the strange name "Neighbourless" (Naboløs), because only one person lived there ... wonder why? Also see the place where Niels Heidenreich remelted The Golden Horns in 1802 in the so-called Nørre Kvartér (Northern Neighbourhood).

Overall this guided tour will exhibit strange stories that are not in the usual catalogues for tourists nor in history books.
