Clay in Local Art and History: Middelfart

Experience Middelfart, the old market town on the water, known for its ceramic art and its rich maritime history. Experience surprising and stimulating works and views. 

Follow your local guide around a town marked by its own maritime roots. 

In the CLAY Museum park, you will see awesome and inspiring ceramics works, including a vase more than 2 meters (7 feet) tall.

Close to the town hall we will look at modern ceramic sculptures that tie the town to the water. We will look at techniques and discuss the symbolism.

This guided tour is set in an urban environment full of stairs, cobblestone streets and gravel paths.  

Duration app. 90 minutes. You may choose to start the guided tour at the town hall or near the CLAY Museum, perhaps followed by a visit to the museum.
