See the lovely fairytale town Ærøskøbing, a small historic market town where the past is very much present.
Come along through the narrow cobbled streets where you can enjoy the beautiful houses and I'll point out to you a door painted in oxblood. Can you find it by yourself?
Ærøskøbing is know for its many weddings. I'll explain to you why this is. I'll tell you some of the extraordinary stories about the inhabitants of town as well, such as bishop Arrebo, who was defrocked in 1622 for partying too hard and composing and singing naughty songs. See the old waterpumps in the marketplace and visit the beautiful Seamen's Church with lots of stories from the past and present.
After completing the guided tour, I recommend that you allow yourself some time to stroll the beautiful streets on your own to take in the picturesque atmosphere.
