About Me

Bornholm has been my home 41 years and I love the island. What's more, I am very fond of communicating the profound knowledge of the island's history, cultural life, nature areas and much more that I have built up over the years. I have been a guide on Bornholm since 1995.

I am also a professional translator, having provided translation services to a wide variety of cultural institutions. As a result, I have a balanced knowledge and understanding of Danish and Scandinavian culture and history, which is more profound than many Danes.

I am an active member of two choirs on Bornholm and was an amateur actor when I lived in the US. I am good at communicating and guiding in an inspiring, lively manner. I was born and raised in Muncie, Indiana, USA, and have all the native-speaker benefits that many tourists enjoy.
