A Journey Through the History of Copenhagen

Join me on a journey through the history of Copenhagen starting at Højbro Plads at the statue of Bishop Absalon, the city's founder. This guided tour is best for a small group so our experience can be friendly and personal.

Hear how the current capital of Denmark was established as a fishing and trading village and grew to prominence from this spot. We'll continue through time, exploring the narrow and atmospheric medieval city streets and squares, hearing stories of famous and colorful personalities, and royals alike.

Take in the 360-degree view of the old and the new city from an ancient observatory before heading to the open marketplace Torvehallerne near Nørreport Station for a refreshment and a recap of what we have seen together.

There will be ample time to take photographs.
