Rønne, North Around Bornholm to Svaneke and Back via Almindingen
Beautiful round tour on the sunny island of Bornholm to the most beautiful places.
We drive along the coastal road north around the island and all the way to Svaneke. The most beautiful drive with sea view and a visit to the 3 picturesque towns of Allinge, Gudhjem and Svaneke.
The 3 towns are charming and perfect for a stroll through the beautiful and pleasant streets. On the way to the north of Bornholm we visit the Hammershus castle ruin and the new welcome center. I reveal the castle's secrets through history till today.
Between Allinge and Gudhjem you have an opportunity to visit the Art Museum in Rø or hike to the cliffs Helligdomsklipperne. After a detour to the island's largest Round Church in Østerlars I suggest a visit to the "Baltic Sea glass" a glassblower between Gudhjem and Svaneke. A visit to a glassblower is a "must" to complete your visit on Bornholm.
Bornholm is known for its smoked herrings and in Allinge you have an opportunity to have lunch at the lokal smoke house. If you have not yet tasted a freshly smoked herring this is the right place to do so.
