Christianshavn's Architectural Wonders

On this guided tour, we will immerse ourselves in the rich history and architecture of Christianshavn, one of Copenhagen's most captivating neighbourhoods.

Established in the early 17th century by King Christian IV, Christianshavn boasts a deep maritime heritage and is now known for its vibrant food scene and eclectic shops. Join us as we explore the area’s historic charm and modern vibrancy through some of its most intriguing landmarks.

We'll start our tour at Inderhavnsbroen, the striking bridge that connects the city's waterways. From there, we'll stroll along the scenic Christianshavn Canal, soaking in the neighbourhood's charming atmosphere before visiting the Church of Our Saviour, renowned for its stunning baroque architecture and panoramic city views. Next, we'll marvel at the unique Cirkelbroen, a circular bridge designed by Olafur Eliasson.

Our journey continues with a stop at Hart Bageri, famous for its exceptional pastries. We'll then head to the modern Opera House and unwind in the nearby Opera Park, a tranquil spot with beautiful views of the harbour. We'll explore Kroyers Plads, a vibrant waterfront area, and conclude our tour at Papirøen, a former paper factory now bustling with street food vendors. This guided tour presents a rich tapestry of Copenhagen's architectural and cultural highlights.
