Join me on a guided tour and relive the birth of the town Esbjerg and hear about how the harbour was the cause of an economic boom.
Until 1866, Esbjerg was a small village with 20 inhabitants. The town was then selected as a new export port for Denmark. The export to England and Ireland was to replace the lost German market after the defeat against Prussia-Austria in 1864.
