Ribe - the oldest town in Denmark
Experience the cosy atmosphere in Ribe - Denmark's oldest town, where history dates back to the year 710. Take a stroll through the old cobbled streets with well-preserved ancient houses, each telling their own story about the Viking and medieval town of Ribe.
On the outskirts of the town lie the ruins of Queen Dagmar and Gorm the Old's castle. In the centre of Ribe is the impressive cathedral, from the top of whose tower you can see the entire Wadden Sea National Park.
Ribe also has many good, cosy restaurants.
In Ribe, the atmosphere is not one for rushing around, so we stroll leisurely through the town at a leisurely pace on our city walk.
