Footprints of the past: Squids and Belemnoids
There is one place on Bornholm, where you can find socalled "thunderbolts" - the back part of ancient squids, the belemnoids. Let me take you on a tour to this place, where we look for thunderbolts and other fossils from the Upper Cretaceous (100-75 mio. years ago).
We'll gather on the parking lot of the airport and walk about 2 km. Remember to bring sturdy shoes as we have to climb over a few big lumbs of rock and a lunch package. The tour won't be conducted, if it is wet or windy.
