Good guides for Zealand
On Zealand and the islands, the stories are many with huge variation. Therefore, we must also maintain a large corps of good guides so we at all times can cover all groups and stories. We must also be able to provide enough guides if you have a large or huge group wanting a tour.
On Zealand our guides can tell you about everything from impressive buildings, magnificent castles and the vibrant life in Copenhagen. There are stories about the harsh life of the Vikings and their dangerous voyages across the North Sea and other seas. Stories of the beautiful and traditional churches of the Middle Ages with entertaining wall paintings that reveal the lifelike messages of the time. Stories of the many beautiful manor houses and royal castles and palaces. Many of the manor houses have been visited by well-known Danes, of whom Hans Christian Andersen is probably the best known of them all. The royal palaces naturally tell the history of power and not least about the kings in particular.
All over Zealand
The guides cover many areas and you can find their suggestions for guided tours on Zealand and the islands. In Zealand it is not only in the towns of Næstved, Roskilde, Helsingør, Nakskov and Sorø that you can find guides. There are of course also guides in Copenhagen and many other lovely cities. New guides are added all the time, which is why we are constantly expanding with more cities.
You can also find guides who are particularly good at guiding nature tours. How about a guide for a foraging tour, mushroom picking tours or the formation of the Danish landscape. If you want to experience the nature, it can be on guided walks, on bike tours or on a coach tour with relevant stops along the way.
Our guides on Zealand & surrounding islands cover a large area. See more about the individual guides and which languages the guide speaks. The guides cover a large number of languages. Which language do you need? We know that guided tours are a good activity for groups in their mothertongue when possible. You just have to choose which tour is right for your group.
We have made an overview of the guides in Copenhagen and the surrounding area, for you to have a shortcut if that's where you need to find a good guide.
We are happy to say visit Zealand with Guide Service Denmark and our guide service Zealand.
