Beskrivelse af mig
I bring Copenhagen's history to life - bring Denmark's history to life. I am an experienced, authentic, knowledgeable and fun local guide.
I work full-time as a tour manager, guide, and storyteller, bringing history to life in the streets of Copenhagen as well as in Denmark's grand castles and historic churches.
Born and raised in Copenhagen, I have a deep passion for sharing both the history and everyday life of the city - from the Viking Age right up to the present day.
Over the years, I have guided visitors at Kronborg Castle, The Viking Ship Museum, and Roskilde Cathedral, as well as leading countless themed walking tours throughout Copenhagen.
I am professional, approachable, and genuinely enjoy connecting with people. Whether I am guiding children, adults, or mixed groups, I adapt to their interests and needs to ensure they get the most out of their experience. I am flexible, knowledgeable, and comfortable handling unexpected situations with confidence and good humour.
With more than 25 years of experience in education, communication, and public speaking, I bring a high level of service, a calm presence, and an engaging storytelling style to every tour.
My background includes training as a teacher, university studies in history and religion, and teaching culinary arts. I have also taught for several years at universities in Indonesia. In addition, I am the author of four books, creator of two major photographic exhibitions, and an experienced lecturer and public speaker.
If you are looking for an authentic, knowledgeable, and engaging guide who can make Danish history both accessible and memorable, I would be delighted to welcome your guests.
