About me

Egeskov Castle is one of the most beautiful castles in Denmark, and it is a joy to be able to present it to guests and share both facts and good stories about the garden, the family, the history of the castle, and the exciting museums and exhibitions.

I am passionate about the place and the energy and pride that Count Michael, his wife Princess Alexandra, and their entire staff put into making the castle and its surroundings exciting and engaging to explore and experience as a guest.

There is something new to discover around every corner - and not least: Egeskov is a lived-in castle - it is the home of Count Michael, Princess Alexandra, and their family - not just a museum, and that is what brings Egeskov to life. Egeskov is not a static manor museum, but constantly evolving with new and exciting initiatives and projects. I look forward to telling you all about it - sprinkled with many little stories and anecdotes.
